Aisling Bea

Aisling bea was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is the richest and most well-known comedian. The comedian has appeared seen on QI together as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea started her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. After she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured regularly in various panel shows. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is one of the most popular contestants on the show's spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea is her name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, from Kildare, County Kildare. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who died at the age of three. Bea was only three years old. She did not know the cause of his death until she turned 13. Her stage name Bea was a tribute for her father. She wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences of suicide. Bea was raised alongside her older sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, and a former professional racer. Her family were fascinated by racing meetings and horses. When she was a child, Bea worked as an instructor for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she was not attracted to the race industry as a career and instead loved performing.
